Why I made The Brief
Matthew Williamson
Keeping up with AI had started to feel like another way of losing the plot. Every morning brought more launches, claims, reactions, and manufactured urgency, but very little help deciding what mattered.
I made The Brief to correct for that: a short weekday reading of consequential developments, grounded in primary sources and clearly attributed reporting. It covers the things worth carrying into the day, not everything that happened.
